The Castle in Malbork
(German: Die Marienburg, Polish: Zamek w Malborku)
It is a massive, brick stronghold, which was for nearly 150 years the capital seat
of The Order of The Teutonic nights of St. Mary's Hospital in Jerusalem -
the Teutonic Knights. The fort, a classic example of a medieval fortress,
built in 1274 years, astonishes and both its vastness.
The fortress, consisting of the lower castle, the castle and the castle of the average
high make up one of the largest surviving groups of Gothic architecture in the world
and the world's largest brick gothic castle.
